An index of the independent web should be open about itself. This page publishes how big the corpus is, who uses it, how much traffic it serves, what it costs and where it runs. Every figure is a total: nothing here is about one account, one visitor or one writer.

What beta means here

corpus.blog is still settling. The method is published and the counts are real, but they move as we read more of each blog's back catalogue, classify more blogs and fix what we got wrong.

  • Figures may change, past ones included, when a blog's older posts are read or a link is resolved again.
  • The newer surfaces (who cited a page, neighbourhoods, more like this, breakouts, the agent server and the plans) may change shape or be withdrawn.
  • A blog's subject and kind come from a classifier and can be wrong.

If something looks wrong, report a problem. A person reads every report; nothing changes on its own.
