for spander being about buffy may I suggest xander can’t BE buffy’s boyfriend, he can’t ever cut it, but he can GET with buffy’s boyfriend. a taste if you will of everything he isn’t, for her. and spike who can’t seem to ever Fit within her inner circle, who wants so badly to be freely a part of her life and is constantly denied, but he can get close with this stupid guy she loves. I think IF it were to happen it’d be like s6 or possibly even s4. and it’s all loathing and a hell of a lot of fuck
