Hi tea upon further testing i think the issue might stem from the charm interaction, whenever i get a sim to use the charm interaction on sims with the totally faithful trait the flirter runs away crying but does the flirt immediately after and its successful against the sims that have the trait. However other romantic interactions (wolf whistle , check sim out etc ) have the expected response which is rejection.
