it helped me see that there are legit reasons to eat animal products as long as someone does their research about what they eat. i really wish more folks would consider more plant-based diets, but i feel much more at ease now that i know people in my community do think about what they eat, they just chose different ways of following their ideals than i did. so i can still talk to my friends about the subject without feeling like i’m betraying my own morals. maybe this can ease some of your guilt
