Honestly, the AI doom scenario that actually worries me is an AI devouring the Internet before we can shut it down, like a “virtual grey goo” scenario. It wouldn’t require AIs to suddenly develop Wizard Shit or somehow access nuclear weapons, but it would still be a massive disaster. It’s weird that nobody seems to mention it.
