Hi Jenn, a kidlit author recently posted a “tell all” blog post about his erstwhile agent dumping him, and even though it basically read as a total humblebrag-fest, and pretty unprofessional towards his former agent, dozens of (mostly female) creators are applauding his bravery. Do you think double standards are at play here—y'know, men getting away with things women could never do? I just don’t know any women who would go public with this stuff without fear of being blacklisted.
