I made a note taking app, heavily inspired by bear notes on ios. Already have one genuine user other than me. It is opensource and end to end encrypted if you choose to sync to the cloud. I havent tested the linux app yet, so cant tell you if it works. But you can install on android. Install amd try it out: https://github.com/blackpirateapps/quitepaper/releases
