Do you think it will occur to Doran that all the people connected to Elia and her children’s death Tywin, Lorch, Gregor, and Kevan have all been killed? None of the remaining Lannisters were involved. I guess Doran could make an argument that Jaime should have protected Elia and her children but even that is stretching it. If Cersei didn’t accuse Tyrion of Joffrey’s murder as soon as he was dead (she fainted when Joffrey died, she was too sick to attend the wedding, whatever), would Tywin have managed to do some damage control? He hates Tyrion too, but he’s got his own plans for Tyrion, and he could probably see that accusing Tyrion in public wouldn’t exactly help the Lannisters. What are your thoughts?original ↗

The North has the Boltons, the Vale has the Royces and the Reach has the Hightowers, houses that can act as secondary centers of power inside the kingdom. With the Reynes and Tarbeks no more, what, if any, house of the Westerlands might serve this position of second most powerful and influential?
