📷 Regreasing my Kitchenaid Mixer (Successfully) Metal gears are coated with dark grease, situated within a machinery component placed on a textured surface. I took apart and re-greased our 30-year-old Kitchenaid Professional mixer today. Long overdue! Thanks to the YouTube videos by Mr Mixer, it was easy. The whole process took just over two hours. I didn’t take any pics of the re-greasing part, but you can see what it looked like before I cleaned it up. I got lucky that the gears were all inoriginal ↗

So here’s the sitch It’s 90°F and beautifully sunny. I grab my hat and sunglasses and head out for my lunchtime walk. I walk to Tropical Smoothie, put in my order, wait, then ready to go. One year (almost) update on my tiny Giant Saguaro I wasn’t sure at first, but there’s definitely new growth since my tiny Giant Saguaro came home almost a year ago. So exciting! It’s been nearly a year since this little guy came home with me from Arizona. I’ve been watering it once a month or so, but the Giant Saguaro grows so slowly it just pretty much always looks the same.
